Levin & Perconti

At Levin & Perconti, our 22 attorneys focus their practice exclusively on plaintiff's personal injury and wrongful death litigation. The types of cases that we have pursued on behalf of our clients who have been harmed by the negligence of other parties have arisen out of incidents involving medical malpractice, premises liability and motor vehicle collisions. Our attorneys also have extensive experience in claims related to the Jones Act and other federal maritime laws, nursing home abuse, defective products and construction site accidents.

We have been able to obtain hundreds of millions of dollars on behalf of our clients since our firm was founded in 1992. Representative cases have included a $4.1 million jury award for a victim of nursing home negligence, a $17.7 million settlement for a former police officer who suffered a brain injury due to medical malpractice, and a $7.6 million settlement in a Jones act case resulting from a boat explosion. Our successes have not gone unnoticed by our fellow professionals. Several of our attorneys, including our two co-founders, have received an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo. Many of them have been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America, and some have received Super Lawyers and Rising Stars recognition.

Our attorneys are active participants in a variety of legal organizations, including the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Women's Bar Association of Illinois and the Litigation Counsel of America. In order to better serve our clients, many of our attorneys are fluent in Spanish, and we offer free consultations, evening appointments, and valet parking at our offices in Chicago.

*AV®, AV Preeminent®, Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished and Martindale-Hubbell Notable are certification marks used under license in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards and policies.
